KATHMANDU: Student Union along with the locals burnt tyres in many places and halted regular vehicular movement for many hours as a sign of their protest for delay in blacktopping of road in Thali of Kageshwari-Manohara Municipality, Kathmandu district. The demonstrators blamed the delay in road construction as the cause of rise in road accidents and dust pollution for the past few years. A photo feature:
