Revellers celebratre Sindur Jatra in Bhaktapur
KATHMANDU: Nepalis across the nation celebrated the New Year on Wednesday. And, the celebrations continue.
As a part of the New Year celebrations, following the centuries-long tradition, locals of Bhaktapur on the second day of the New Year marked the Sindur Jatra festival on Thursday.
Revellers carried chariots of Hindu gods and goddesses and hurled vermilion powder onto each other as a part of the celebrations.
