KATHMANDU, JUNE 3
CPN-UML Vice Chairperson Bishnu Prasad Poudel has described the party's experience during last year's Gen-Z movement and the March election as one of the biggest setbacks in its history, saying the party will now focus on rebuilding its relationship with the public.
Addressing a membership renewal workshop in Kathmandu on Tuesday, Poudel said the setbacks had provided important lessons for the party.
"We suffered an unprecedented setback through the Gen-Z movement and the March election," he said. "Learning from this experience, all party activities will now be directed towards the people and the national interest."
Poudel also called on party members to work collectively to overcome organisational challenges, stressing that strengthening the party's connection with the public would be a key priority in the days ahead.
