BIRATNAGAR: A teenager was arrested with [pharmaceutical drugs in Morang on Thursday.

A resident of Khatarmcha-8 of Khotang and presently residing at Boudha, Kathmandu, Indra Rai (18) was arrested during a regular security check at Biratanagar-21 check point on yesterday evening, the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar informed.

He was found carrying 100 ampoules each of Diazepam, Lupigesic and Avil that are banned in Nepal. Rai is presently under custody at the Area Police Office in Rani Biratnagar awaiting further legal action.
