PARSA: A man died and two others were injured after a vehicle fell off the road at Paterwa Sugauli in Parsa district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Tharu Mukhiya Bin of Paterwa-7, informed the Parsa District Police Office.

According to DSP Chakra Raj Joshi at the DPO, the vehicle with an Indian number plate (BR 1 P 8554) was travelling at a high speed, lost control and fell off the road along the Birgunj-Thori road section.

Among the injured was Bin's 15-year-old daughter, Kajal Kumari, police said. Bin's family was travelling to Birgunj when the accident occurred.

The injured are being treated at the Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital in Birgunj.

The body of the deceased has been kept at the Hospital.

Driver of the vehicle is on the run and police are searching for him.
