LAHAN: A person died and another sustained critical injuries after a motorcycle they were riding on collided with a bus at Janak Chok along the East-West Highway in Karjanha Rural Municipality-2 in Siraha district on Thursday night.

The deceased has been identified as the motorcyclist Sunil Das of Portaha-8 in Dhanusha district and the injured as a local resident Dipesh Paswan.

The incident occurred after the bus Me 1 Kha 2221 collided head-on with the motorcycle Ja 9 Pa 7187 injuring Das and Paswan last night, according to Mirchaiya-based Area Police Office.

The critically injured Das was admitted to a Mirchaiya-based nursing home where he breathed his last while Paswan was rushed to Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital for treatment, said police.
