DHANUSHA: A jeep lost control to crash, leaving one dead and two injured this morning at Laxminiya along the Dhalkebar-Janakpur road stretch in Dhanusha.

The Scorpio with Indian number plate – AS 01 W 0420 – was en route to Janakpur from Mahendranagar of the district when it lost control and crashed in front of a flour mill in Laxminiya area in Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City–25, according to District Police Office (DPO).

In the accident, Binod Paswan (37) of Kurtha area of Janakpur Sub-Metropolis died on the spot, police said.

The jeep driver, Birendra Kumar Das (30) from Bagewa area of Laxmipur of Janakpur is reported to be in serious condition while another passenger, Swatantra Yadav (28) has sustained injuries on his back.
