HETAUNDA: One died and two others were injured when two motorcycles collided with each other in Karra of Hetaunda-10 along the East-West Highway on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Sandeep Dong (23) of Ratomate, Chiryamai.

The incident occurred when the motorbike (Na 16 Pa 8384) heading towards Pashupatinagar from Hetaunda collided head-on with another motorcycle (Na 12 Pa 8525) en route to Hetaunda Bazaar last night.

Police said that Bhim Thapa (27) and his brother Narayan Thapa of Hetaunda-12 were injured in the incident.

Critically injured Bhim is receiving treatment at the Chure Hospital while Narayan, who sustained minor injuries, is receiving treatment at the Hetaunda Hospital, police informed.
