DHADING: One person died on the spot and three others sustained injuries when the truck they were travelling in turned turtle at Kauledanda in Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality-6 of Dhading district on Thursday.

District Police Office, Dhading identified the deceased as Krishna Bahadur Ramtel, 36, of Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality-6 in the district.

The injured persons are undergoing treatment at Dhading District Hospital, according to DPO Spokesperson, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rupak Khadka.

The incident occurred after the truck (Ba 2 Kha 9750) loaded with cement and other items lost control on a steep road and tumbled near Sunkhani Primary School this afternoon, killing one on the spot. It has been learnt that the truck was heading to Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality from Dhadingbesi, district headquarters.

Meanwhile, an investigation into the case is underway, police said.
