KATHMANDU: A person died after being hit by an unidentified vehicle in Manahari Rural Municipality-7 of Makawanpur district on Wednesday night.

The deceased who appears to be in his mid thirties is yet to be identified.

According to police, the incident occurred when the unidentified vehicle hit the pedestrian in Bijauna at 11:30 pm yesterday, killing him on the spot.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway and search is on for both the vehicle and driver involved in the incident, informed Area Police Office, Manahari.
