Over 100 Nepalis killed in fire, lightning incidents since winter
KATHMANDU: More than 100 persons died in fire and lightning incidents across the nation since the last winter, the Ministry of Home Affairs data showed.
Home Minister Shakti Bahadur Basnet while speaking at the House on Tuesday informed that total 76 persons died in fire incidents.
Likewise, 28 persons died in lightning strikes, according to Basnet.
The Home Minister had also briefed the legislative body about abduction and release of industrialist Suresh Kedia.
