11 hurt in Dhading tractor accident
DHADING: As many as 11 persons were injured after a tractor they were travelling on, overturned in Dhading on Saturday.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rupak Khadka at Dhading District Police Office, the incident occurred when the trailer of the tractor (Na 6 Ta 2780) ferrying the workers lost control and overturned at a turning.
The workers hired by Nawa Kantipur Construction were en route to Dhading Besi-Salyantar road construction site, informed DSP Khadka.
Police after the preliminary investigation said that the tractor was over speeding at the time of the accident.
Among the injured, Karna Bahadur Chadara of Chhedagaun in Jajarkot district has been referred to the Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur after a preliminary treatment at Dhading Besi based- District Hospital. Meanwhile, other 10 injured including Hari Bahadur Shahi, Karna Bahadur Shahi, Tej Bahadur Raut, Men Bahadur Shahi and Purna Bahadur Dangi are being treated at the Dhading District Hospital.
The investigation into the case is underway, said police.
