PANCHTHAR: An eleven-year-old boy died after getting an electric shock in Phidim Municipality-6 of Panchthar district.

The deceased has been identified as Sanam Magar, son of Lal Bahadur Magar of Magargaun in Shiwa, Phidim-6. The incident occurred when the boy climbed an electric pole while playing with his friends.

The boy, after getting the electric shock at around 4:00 pm on Wednesday, was rushed to Panchthar Hospital where he was declared dead by the doctors upon arrival, informed Panchthar District Police Office.
