DADELDHURA: More than 150 houses, including school buildings, have been pulled down and 120 families displaced by landslips in Dadeldhura in the last one month .

Police said Nepal Red Cross Society had provided relief to some displaced families while others were left in the lurch. DSP Chakra Bahadur Singh said property worth Rs 40 million was destroyed. Jogbuda, Shirsha, Alital, Nawadurga, Rupal and Bagarkot are among the worst affected.

Food prices skyrocketed as transport come to a standstill. Road link to Alital, Jogbuda and Sirsha VDCs has been cut for over a month, locals said.
