13th Kabul blast victim's body to reach Nepal Friday morning

KATHMANDU: The government said body of Chyangwa Tamang, who succumbed to blast injuries in Kabul of Afghanistan on Wednesday, would arrive in Kathmandu on Friday morning.

Tamang is the 13th migrant Nepali worker killed in the Monday Kabul suicide attack. Other 12 bodies were brought to Kathmandu yesterday.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the mortal remains would reach Kathmandu at 8:30 am tomorrow.

Mortal remains of late Chyangwa Tamang left Kabul today at 14.55. It will arrive in Ktm at 8.30 am tomorrow by flight no. AI 213.

Injured left in Kabul brought to Delhi

Meanwhile, the MoFA said one injured who was left in Kabul was evacuated to New Delhi on late Wednesday evening.

Air ambulance carrying 6th injured Nep national Man Bahadur Thapa landed in New Delhi. He's being transferred to Apolo 4 further treatment.

Other five injured were airlifted to the Indian capital yesterday morning.

As many as 12 Nepalis had died on the spot while seven had sustained injuries in the blast in the Afghan capital on early Monday morning. The toll on Wednesday had reached 13 after Tamang had succumbed to the injuries.
