KATHMANDU: At least 14 people were injured when a passenger bus met with an accident near Burtibang of Baglung district on Friday.

According to the DSP Chakra Singh Thakuri of the District Police Office, Baglung, the bus (Na 4 Kha 9217) was travelling from Kathmandu, carrying 25 passengers.

The injured are being treated at the Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital, police added.

Police also informed that the accident occurred due to brake fail.
