15-member NCP delegation leaving for China tomorrow

Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is sending a 15-member delegation to Beijing to learn organisational structure and party operation procedure from the Communist Party of China.
The NCP delegation led by Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha will be leaving for China on Friday.
Girdharilal Neupane (Kapilvastu), Jeevan Gautam (Dang), Santu Darai (Chitwan), Hardev Joshi (Darchula), Balawoti Sharma (Baglung ) Dhurb Shrestha (Ilam), Sharada Pratap Subedi (Kaski) Parmananda Bhatta (Baitadi), Kamal Ray Yadav (Rautahat), Sarita Baral (Jhapa), Govinda Bahadur Nepali (Baglung), Sumitra Bhandari ( Jhapa), Matrika Poudel and Suresh Kaji Shrestha are members of the delegation.
“It will be an opportunity to exchange experience between our party and Communist party of China on organisational structure and procedure,” member of the delegation Girdharilal Neupane said, “This is the reason we have included members from across the country — from east to west and north to south — in our delegation.”
They are visiting China at the invitation of Communist party of China Central Committee. They were selected by the NCP Secretariat meeting. The programme was set as per the understanding between leaders of the two communist parties.
The delegation will discuss issues with leaders of the Communist Party of China and observe some cities, including Shaoshan, the birth place of Mao Zedong, the founder of the People’s Republic of China.
NCP (NCP) Co-chairperson and former prime minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is also leaving for China on Saturday with his family for a week-long visit. Dahal will meet General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and President of China Xi Jinping. According to Dahal’s secretariat he will also meet Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and other Standing Committee members including Chief of the party organization and ministers. Dahal also will visit Shaoshan before returning to Nepal on Thursday.
