SALYAN: As many as 153 students in Salyan district are barred from taking the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations after they failed to secure at least 75 per cent of annual school attendance.

A total of 7,054 students are appearing in the SLC exams this year from the district, the District Education Office sources said.

The exams are scheduled to start from March 31.
