BAJHANG: Fourteen houses and two school buildings have collapsed in landslips triggered by incessant rain in Bajhang district in the past one week period. The incident occurred in Bhatekhola, Sunikot, Kailash and Dahabagar VDCs, Bajhang District Administration Office said. "Relief materials, including monetary succor ranging from Rs 500 to 5,000, were provided to each displaced family," assistant CDO Chiranjivi Thapa added. Properties worth more than Rs 5 million have been damaged in landslips and floods in the district. Paddy planted in 200 ropanis of land was also damaged as the crop was buried under the falling landmass, District Agriculture Office said.
