16 leaders, cadres of Biplav-led CPN arrested in Bajura

BAJURA: Police on Friday arrested 16 leaders, cadres of the Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav)-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) from Majpali in Gaumul Rural Municipality-3 of Bajura district.

“Biplav-led CPN Party central committee member Chudamani Oli, district committee member Damba Sunar and other cadres were arrested today, said District Police Office, Bajura, Chief and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Uddhav Singh Bhatt.

A police patrol team deployed from the DPO apprehended them along with party manifesto and other political documents, DSP Bhatt added.

Meanwhile, further investigation is underway, police said.
