DHANGADHI: A 16-year-old boy was drowned in Mohana River of Kailali district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Ashish Singh of Dhangadhi-2.

DSP Bishworaj Singh of the District Police Office, Kailali informed that Singh had ventured into the river near Bishalnagar of Dhangadhi-3 to beat the scorching sun.

Singh had recently passed his School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations.

Likewise, an unidentified man was found dead in southern border of the Hulaki Highway, Dhangadhi-12 on Tuesday.

Police said that the identity of the man, who appeared to be in his mid 40s, is yet to be ascertained.

The body has been kept at the morgue of the Seti Zonal Hospital.
