PYUTHAN: A 17-year-old girl died due to snakebite in Pyuthan on Monday.

Police identified the victim as Pinkal Rana of Hansapur-6 in Pyuthan. She was stung by a snake while she had gone to collect fodder for cattle, according to a local.

Rana was ninth grader at the Saraswoti Higher Secondary School in Hansapur.

Rana breathed her last during the course of treatment, police said.
