JAJARKOT: Two persons were critically injured in a jeep accident at Bheri Malika Municipality-2, Khalanga of Jajarkot district on Monday.

The injured passengers have been identified as Khima Singh (20) of Dhime VDC-5 and Sita RC (18) of Painka VDC-4 of the district.

The Jajarkot District Police said the ill-fated jeep (Bhe 1 Ja 566) met with the accident as it skidded off the road while on its way to Panchkatiya.

Police meanwhile reached the incident site and rescued the injured.

Both the injured have been sent to the District Hospital for treatment, informed DSP Dan Bahadur Malla of the DPO.

The jeep driver is on the run after the incident. Police said they are investigating into the case.
