BARDIYA: A child who was missing for the past two weeks was found dead in Bogatiya, Bardiya on Tuesday evening.

According to Inspector Chakra Joshi, Jawala Tharu, 6, a second grader at River Queen Boarding School was found in the jungle. His body had decomposed beyond recognition and locals were only able to identify him from the clothes on his body. Joshi informed that an investigation into the incident is underway.

Likewise, the body of Phari Mandal, a resident of Laxmaniya, Mahottari was found hanging in a room of his home on Tuesday evening. The police said that Mandal committed suicide when his family members were not in the house. The police suspect that he was suffering from a mentally illness.
