2 Indian nationals held for robbery

RAUTAHAT: Police recently arrested two Indian nationals while fleeing the scene after robbing a man of Rs 90,795 in Gaur of Rautahat.

The suspects have been identified as Chintu Gwala (20) and Bhart Gwala (25) of Gudika in Jalpai of India.

According to the District Police Office, Rauatahat, Lal Babu Patel, assistant technician at the Debahi VDC, was heading towards his home after withdrawing money from the Rastriya Banijaya Bank, when the Gwala duo poured itiching medicine over Patel's body and robbed the cash in Gaur-5.

In the mean time, Patel shouted for help and managed to nab the robbers with the help of locals and police personnel, SP Ganesh Regmi of the District Police Office, Rautahat informed.

Police said that they have confiscated a Nepali SIM card, a bottle of itching medicine and a needle among other things from their possession.

Police said that they are investigating into the incident.
