ILLAM: Two passengers were killed when a bus (Me 1 Kha 941) heading to Jhapa from Panchthar met with an accident in Tribeni, Illam along the Mechi Highway on Thursday.

According to the police 16 passengers were injured and four of them are in critical condition. While one of the deceased has been identified as Binod Ran from Illam the other is yet to be identified, said the police. Ram Bahadur Rai one of the critically injured passengers is being treated at BP Koirala Institute of Health Science, Dharan whereas the others are undergoing treatment in Illam District Hospital.
