KAWASOTI: Two persons were killed in a tractor accident in Naya Belahani-8 of Nawalparasi district, along the East-West Highway, on Sunday.

The vehicle (Lu 1 Ta 2699) heading towards the west had lost control and turned turtle on the road.

Chet Bahadur Resmi (26) from Dumkibas-5 and Sambhu Gurung (27) from Dumkibas-1 were killed in the accident, according to police.

Meanwhile, the driver fled the scene after the accident and the search is on.

Further investigation is underway.
