BHIMDUTTANAGAR: Two persons were killed when a tractor (Se 1 Ta 7864) hit a bike (Se 1 2976) they were riding pillion at Belauri Municipality-7 in Ramnagar of Kanchanpur district on Thursday night.

The deceased have been identified as Ambika Saud Pal (30) and her two-year old child Alisa Pal, said police.

Police said that the bike rider was not injured in the incident.

Police have impounded the tractor and arrested its driver for investigation.
