2 succumb to road accident injuries in Tanahun
DAMAULI: Two of the four persons, who had sustained injuries in a road accident at Anbukhaireni-7 of Tanahun district, died in course of treatment on Thursday.
Three motorbikes had rammed into a bus today.
The deceased have been identified as Bishnu Rai (19) of Anbukhaireni-6 and Krishna Magar of Anbukhareni-3, according to the District Police Office, Tanahun.
Rai had breathed his last at the Chitwan Medical College during treatment, police said.
Likewise, Magar breathed his last at the Manipal Teaching Hospital of Pokhara, police added.
Spared with injuries from the accident, Milan Gauli (19) and Bhijan Gauli (16), both residing at Baradi in Anbukhaireni-7 are ongoing treatment in the Capital, police added.
The passenger bus (Na 6 Kha 3956) was en route to Anbukhairini from Muglin while the motorbikes (Ga 9 Pa 2305, Ga 9 Pa 1897 and Na 4 Pa 6900) heading toward the opposite direction collided one after another, police said.
Meanwhile, the bus driver has been detained and further investigation is underway, police added.
