NAWALPUR, NOVEMBER 21
At least 20 people were injured when a passenger bus met with an accident at Madhyabindu along the East–West Highway in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat–Susta East) today.
The bus (Lu 2 Kha 2845), en route from Narayanghat to Butwal, crashed near Khajuri Khola in Madhyabindu–8, police said.
According to the District Police Office, the injured are undergoing treatment at Madhyabindu Provincial Hospital in Danda. A team from the Tamsariya police station carried out the rescue operation.
Preliminary police investigation shows the accident occurred after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
