Victims include 80-year-old man and 10-year-old boy; injured receiving treatment in Bardibas hospitals

Two pedestrians were killed and more than 40 bus passengers injured in a road accident at Khayarmara, Bardibas Municipality, Mahottari district this morning, police confirmed.
The deceased have been identified as Chulhai Chaudhary (80), a resident of Bardibas-10, who died on the spot, and Prabesh Khadka (10) of Ishworpur-12, Sarlahi, who succumbed to injuries during treatment, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Bikas Bam of the Area Police Office, Bardibas.
The accident occurred when a bus (Na 6 Kha 1464) traveling from Kayarmara towards Kathmandu hit the pedestrians.
According to police, over 40 passengers aboard the bus sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Bardibas.
