CHITWAN: As many as 21 people were injured when a tour bus met with an accident at Aaptari in Bharatpur Sub-Metropolitan of Chitwan district on Saturday.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the incident occurred after the driver lost control of the vehicle, heading towards (Bhe1 Kha 1799) Kathmandu from Damak carrying 21 farmers of Navajagaran Farmers Group, due to over speed this morning.

Among the injured, 10 are receiving treatment at the Bharatpur Hospital while 11 are receiving treatment at the Chitwan Medical Hospital.

Police said that they have impounded the bus and arrested its driver for investigation.
