KATHMANDU, JUNE 21
At least 23 people were injured when a passenger bus met with an accident at Ritha Bazaar in Budhiganga Municipality of Bajura district on Sunday.
According to police, the bus (SuPra 01001 Kha 1355), which was travelling from Mahendranagar, veered off the road after suffering brake failure along the Sanphe-Martadi highway.
All the injured have been taken to the District Hospital for treatment. Police Inspector Naresh Bahadur Shahi said a rescue team was immediately mobilised after receiving information about the accident.
The injured are reported to be out of danger.
