Nepal's coronavirus caseload reached 745,731 on Saturday with 1,424 more people testing positive for the infection in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 695,925 with 2,382 discharges logged today.
On the other hand, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll increased to 10,485 with 30 more fatalities.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, 13,075 total tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 7,703 were PCR tests while 5,372 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 3,821,248 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests have confirmed 651 positive cases in the past 24 hours. The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests amount to 2,075.
Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 93.3%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.5%. The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 39,321.
So far, a total of 8,770,664 people has received coronavirus vaccine across the country, of which 4,935,056 have received the first dose while only 3,835,608 individuals have been inoculated with both the doses and are fully vaccinated.
Currently, there are 423 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
In the same time frame, 483 infections were reported in the capital city while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur reported 103 and 81 cases respectively.
On Friday, Nepal's coronavirus caseload had reached 744,307 with 2,079 people testing positive for the infection.
Globally, over 211 million people have been infected by the novel coronavirus while 4.4 million people have lost their lives to the disease.
Likewise, over 189 million people have recovered while more than 17 million cases are still active.
