CPN-UML standing committee member Prabbu Sah and 24 other UML leaders have filed their nominations for member of the Provincial Assembly and the House of Representatives for the November 20 polls as independent candidates.
Sah, who renounced the party ticket from Rautahat Constituency-3 and registered his nomination as independent candidate, said that Kiran Sah and Pradip Sah had filed their candidacies from Rautahat-2 and 4.
Man Bahadur Khadka and Ram Adhar Kapad have filed their nomination papers from Sarlahi-1, and Mahottari-3.
Likewise, Kishori Sah, Krishna Kumar Mahato and Santosh Shrestha have registered their nomination from Dhanusha-1, Dhanusha-4 and Parsa-1 for member of the House of Representatives.
Likewise, 14 candidates have filed their nomination papers from various constituencies in Madhes Province as independent candidates.
Prabhu Sah said it was wrong of the UML to forge electoral alliance with Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal.
He slammed the Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal for being a communal party. "I will not regret filing nomination paper as independent candidate," Sah added.
