KATHMANDU: At least 28 persons were injured when a bus they were travelling in met with an accident at Manahari in Makawanpur district on Saturday.

The ill-fated bus (Na 3 Kha 9689) was heading towards Birgunj from Kathmandu when the incident occurred, according to the District Police Office, Makawanpur.

The injured are receiving treatment at various hospitals in the district.'

Police said that they are looking into the case.
