28 withdraw nominations

Nineteen persons, who had filed their nominations for provincial and parliamentary polls, have withdrawn their candidacies in Kailali.
Three in Constituency No 5, two in Constituency No 2, three in Constituency No 3, seven in Constituency No 2 and four in Constituency No 1 withdrew their nominations today.
Kshitiz Bhandari, who had field nomination from Nepali Congress BP, withdrew his candidacy for Parliament from Constituency No 5. Naya Shakti Party-Nepal’s Nripa Bahadur Bohora also withdrew his parliamentary election nomination from Constituency No 5.
Election Officer Arjun Prasad Koirala said that Yagyanidhi Koirala, who had filed his nomination for parliament from Constituency No 4 from Nepali Congress (BP), withdrew his candidacy.
In Constituency No 3, Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s Birendra Bahadur Bam, independent candidate Bijayraj Swar and Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal’s Chandra Kumari Chaudhry withdrew their nominations.
Seven candidates, including three for parliament withdrew their candidacies in Constituency No 2. Krishna Bahadur Batala of Bibekshil Sajha Party, and independent candidates Ranganath Dhakal and Arjun Bahadur Hamal withdrew their candidacies. They had filed nominations for Parliament.
Four candidates withdrew their nominations in Constituency No 1. Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s Dinesh Kumar Shah, RPP Unified’s Kaiyadevui Chuadhary and independent candidates Udayaram Adhikari and Kamal Bahadur Khadka withdrew their nominations.
Similarly, nine candidates withdrew their nominations for parliamentary and provincial elections from Chitwan today. Four parliamentary and two provincial candidates from Constituency No 3 withdrew their nominations. Uma Devi Sharma from Rastriya Janamorcha, Krishna Bahadur Tamang of Unified Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nationalist and two independent candidates Sunil Kumar Chhetry and Nandaraj Acharya withdrew their nominations. San Bahadur Gurung of Rastriya Prajatantra Party and Lalit Kumar Chaudhary of Federal Democratic Tharuhat withdrew their nominations from Ka and Kha areas of Constituency No 3 respectively.
