KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 17

As many as 29 passengers were injured when two buses collided at Nayapul Gorechautara in Bandipur Rural Municipality, Tanahun district, along the Prithvi Highway on Sunday afternoon.

Among the injured, two are reported to be in critical condition, according to the District Police Office, Tanahun.

DSP Ashok Thapa stated that the incident occurred when a bus with registration number GAA 0070 collided head-on with another bus registered as Bhe 1 Kha 3487.

Passengers trapped in the wreckage were rescued with the help of a dozer. The injured are currently receiving treatment at Laxmi Hospital in Dumre, the police confirmed.
