MORANG: Police on Monday arrested three persons for their alleged involvement in selling fake gold jewelries from Itahara and Urlabari of Morang district.

A team deployed from the Area Police Office, Sijuwa, held Kumar Bishwakarma of Itahara-2 and Milan Sunwar of Sijuwa-2 from Itahara-based hotel last night.

Sub-Inspector of Nepal Police Shankar Khadka said that Rs 50,000 and two sets of jewelries were also seized from the duo.

Similarly, police today arrested Sagar Bishwakarma of Urlabari on the same charge.

Police said Sagar was taken under control regarding investigations suspecting that he supported Kumar to make fake gold jewelries.
