HETAUNDA: Makawanpur police arrested three people in possession of marijuana on Friday.

Ramesh Chepang (34), Rame Chepang (36) and Babu Tamang (19) were arrested from Tintapke, Hetaunda with five kg of cannabis each.

Police said they were frisked following a suspicion and the security personnel found the contraband in their bags.

Further investigation into the case is underway, police added.
