RAUTAHAT: Police on Tuesday apprehended three persons including two children with eight kg marijuana in Bara.

The suspects have been identified as Pabitra Praja (30), Sita Praja (15) and Sarmila Praja (12) of Bharta VDC-7, Makwapur district.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Garuda confiscated the contraband drug from a commuter bus (Na 4 Kha 1534) during the security check.

The bus was heading towards Gaur from Chandranigahapur.

Police are looking into the case.
