BHOJPUR: Three people were injured when a tractor met with an accident in Helauchha VDC of Bhojpur on Monday.

The injured have been identified as Ganesh Khadka (26) of Chyangre-8, Bhojpur, Roshan Tamang (14) of Bastim-4 and Ganesh Jogi (21) of Diyale, Dhankuta, informed the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar.

Police said that the seriously injured trio have been sent to the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.

The tractor (Ko 2 Ta 227) fell some 500 metres down the road while trying to let another vehicle to pass by.

Tractor hit injures 22yo in Sankhuwasabha

Likewise, Amar Karki (22) was critically injured when a tractor (Na 5 Ta 3747) hit him at Madi Municipality of Sankhuwasabha district on Tuesday.

Karki had both of his legs broken for which he has been taken to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for treatment.

Temporary police post Piluwakhola, Sankhuwasabha, said that they have impounded the vehicle and searching for the driver.
