NEPALGUNJ: At least three persons were killed in separate incidents on Friday.

According to sources, Batuk Nath Devkota was killed when a passenger bus heading from Butwal to Nepalgunj met with an accident near the Muguwa stream in Thori, Banke today. Nine injured passengers are receiving treatment in Teaching Hospital in Koholpur, Banke.

Likewise, Sangita Thapa was killed when a bus met with an accident heading from Arghakachi to New Delhi in Aghaiya, Banke. Eight injured persons are undergoing treatment also at the Teaching Hospital in Koholpur, Banke.

Meanwhile, taxi driver Amrit Lama was found dead by the police patrolling near Manohara stream in Bhaktapur on Thursday night. The police said that his legs and neck were tied to the seat of the taxi. The police suspect that a passenger was involved in the crime and informed that an investigation is underway.
