Birgunj, November 27:

The police re-arrested three Maoists immediately after they were freed today afternoon on the premises of the Parsa District Court.The Appellate Court Hetauda ordered their release on the Thursday. The Nepal Bar Association and human rights organsations have strongly condemned it.

The Maoist cadres, Shyam Sundar Dhungana, Bhola Thapa, Sukram Lama, who were freed in the presence of Parsa district court judge Jagadish Sharma Poudel but were later arrested by plaincloth policemen.

They released Maoists had taken refuge in the Nepal Bar Association, Parsa office after their release but were arrested after they came out of the court premises. Central member of the Nepal Bar Association, Binod Nepal, regretted that the three Maoists were arrested despite the government’s commitment to honour court orders.
