DAMAULI, JANUARY 4
A total of 32 people were injured in a passenger bus accident at Mauribazaar along the Prithvi Highway of Myagde Rural Municipality-6 in Tanahun this morning.
The bus (Ba. Pra. 03-001 Kha. 1206), which was going to Pokhara from Birgunj, went out of control and fell into the river below the road, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohan Bahadur Khand of District Police Office Tanahun.
One of the injured is reported to be in a critical condition while the condition of 14 people is moderate. The remaining are is normal condition.
According to the police, the injured also include the bus driver, 34-year-old Antim Sunar of Lumle, Annapurna Rural Municipality-6, Kaski, his assistant, Sagar Shrestha, 32, of Shuklagandaki Municipality-6, Tanahun.
