Thirty-two victims included in the list of quake beneficiaries have returned the grant money received for house construction to the National Reconstruction Authority District Implementation Unit, Dhulikhel, Kavre, so far.

Finance analyst Jaya Krishna Jha at the unit said 32 quake beneficiaries had returned Rs 50,000 each that they had received as first tranche of the housing grant

Two beneficiaries from Roshi Rural Municipality, five from Panauti Municipality, three from Bhumlu Rural Municipality, seven from Namobudhha Municipality, among others, have returned the grant money as they did not construct their private houses despite having taken the grant money.

The NRA district unit office has identified people, who are yet to receive the first instalment of the grant money.
