328 convicts still at large in Panchthar
PHIDIM: The Panchthar District Police Office and the District Court have failed to nab as many as 328 absconding convicts involved in various criminal activities.
Indra Yonghang, a court official said, "Among the convicts, 80 people were sentenced to jail and 151 were slapped with fine by the Panchthar District Court".
"Similarly, as many as 97 culprits were sentenced to both jail and fine", he added.
The Court has already sent the collective data to the District Police Office, Panchthar.
The search for the absconding convicts will be done by the local police stations according to the details provided by the Court, said DSP Krishna Kumar Koirala.
"We have already nabbed 44 criminals in the past four months and sent them to prison," he added.
