KATHMANDU: The National Seismological Centre (NSC) at the Department of Mines and Geology today recorded a 4.6 magnitude earthquake, an aftershock of the 2015-Gorkha earthquake, in Dolakha.

The aftershock was recorded at 10:51 am with its epicentre around Shyama, near Jiri. Earlier on February 27, aftershock measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was recorded at the same place.

According to NSC, a total of 491 aftershocks measuring above 4 on the Richter scale have been recorded following the Gorkha earthquake.
