KATHMANDU: A 40-year-old woman set herself on fire in Morang district on Monday.

Police informed that Mangala Devi Rishidev of Bayarban-1 set herself on fire under the influence of alcohol yesterday evening.

After being rescued by her husband and son, she was rushed to the Ghopa Hospital in Dharan for treatment.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
