A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck Mugu district on Monday morning, with its epicenter located in Kotdanda, the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, Lainchaur, reported.
The tremor occurred at 8:39 am and follows another 4.8-magnitude quake that hit Jima in Mugu on Sunday.
Nepal, lying in a seismically active Himalayan zone, frequently experiences earthquakes and aftershocks of varying magnitudes.
